Skiing @ the bottom of the world #1

Skiing to Castle Rock and looping down around the sea ice was a challenge on 1980's classic style cross country skis, about 4 inches underfoot. I think I'll go back to skiing my fatty boards in the future. Needless to say we couldn't really turn so a power snowplow got us down the significant hill that if you veered off the track you could end up in a crevasse ice area - good times! We still had a great day with sunny clear weather, decent snow and great scenery!
