The captain hitching a ride. Nice hard hat!!!

The captain being run over by the USCG Polar Sea! Not really, I volunteer to tie-up the ships when they come into Ross Island port.

The wind is constant depending where your located. A few weeks ago I flew-out to Black Island across the bay about 20 miles. They have five wind generators that just crank! When we left on the helo, the wind was at a steady...oop's, can't say. I'll call you over the phone. Also, wind and solar power run most all of the out-laying camps for the scientists. The station is also looking into solar generators.

Nice ship there Captain. The one I use to navigate while in the Navy was a lot bigger. (aircraft carrier)... "John&Candy" got lost one time on a beer run? Hell it's almost 11:00 here and I still can't remember where I parked my truck. I know that I didn't drive though which is probably a good thing.
